Answer:
Strategic sourcing is a systematic approach to identifying, evaluating, selecting, and managing suppliers based on factors such as cost, quality, delivery, capacity, technical capability, and long-term business requirements.

The objective is not simply to purchase at the lowest price but to achieve the best overall value for the organization.

2. How do you select a new supplier?

Answer:
I would evaluate the supplier’s technical capability, manufacturing capacity, quality systems, financial stability, delivery performance, commercial competitiveness, infrastructure, and previous customer experience.
