About the Role
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end plant quality assurance strategy. The position requires strong leadership across supplier quality, manufacturing processes, incoming inspection, final inspection, and customer quality.
A major focus will be on preventing defects at their source rather than relying only on final inspection. The selected candidate will also work with suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve quality performance and support new product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Supplier Quality, Incoming Quality, Process Quality, Outgoing Quality, and Customer Quality functions.
- Establish and continuously improve quality assurance systems, standards, and risk-management processes.
- Drive quality improvement using APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, and Lean Six Sigma.
- Monitor key quality KPIs such as Supplier PPM, Internal PPM, DPU, FPY, customer claims, warranty, and COPQ.
