🌟 Role Overview

As a Senior Manager – HR, you will act as a strategic business partner for multiple corporate and central functions. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to translate business objectives into actionable HR strategies that drive performance, engagement, and growth across the organization.

This role offers the opportunity to shape culture, drive capability building, and lead HR transformation initiatives that align people goals with Tata Motors’ business vision.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional leaders across Finance, Legal, Strategy, Digital, and Government Affairs to design and execute impactful HR programs.

  • Drive Talent Management and Succession Planning to build a robust leadership pipeline and ensure business continuity.

  • Lead Performance Management initiatives — setting clear KPIs, facilitating reviews, and promoting a culture of continuous feedback.

  • Support Capability Building and Learning Programs tailored to enhance technical and leadership competencies across corporate functions.

  • Strengthen Employee Engagement and Culture by designing initiatives that improve collaboration, inclusion, and morale.

  • Implement Workforce Planning and People Analytics to optimize resource allocation and forecast organizational needs.

  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) in areas such as Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations to ensure seamless delivery of HR services.

  • Ensure adherence to HR governance, policies, and compliance frameworks.

  • Champion digital HR transformation initiatives that improve process efficiency and employee experience.

  • 5–12 years of progressive experience in HR, preferably as an HR Business Partner handling multiple corporate functions.

  • Strong understanding of talent management, performance management, learning & development, and employee engagement frameworks.

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders in a matrix organization.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.

  • Exposure to corporate environments or large organizations with diversified functions will be an added advantage.
