Are you an experienced Store Executive looking to grow in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment? VVDN Technologies is actively hiring a results-driven professional who can efficiently handle material movement, inventory accuracy, SAP documentation, and store compliance processes.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) and be well-versed in managing ESD-safe material handling, inventory tracking, and store documentation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handling inward and outward material movement.

  • Managing inventory through SAP, GRN preparation, and stock updating.

  • Kitting and issuance of materials to production as per schedule.

  • Ensuring ESD-safe handling and storage of electronic components.

  • Maintaining 5S, safety, documentation, and store housekeeping standards.

1️⃣ What experience do you have in store or inventory management?

Answer:
I have worked in store operations where I was responsible for receiving materials, creating GRNs, issuing materials to production, updating SAP entries, and maintaining inventory reports. I ensured zero shortages through timely planning and communication with internal teams.


2️⃣ What types of SAP transactions have you used?

Answer:
I have experience with GRN creation, stock transfer, issue slips, return entries, physical stock adjustments, and generating daily inventory reports using SAP MM module.


3️⃣ How do you ensure inventory accuracy?

Answer:
I conduct cycle counts, compare physical and system stock, investigate mismatches, update SAP, and maintain proper labeling and documentation to avoid errors.


4️⃣ What is ESD, and why is it important in electronics manufacturing?

Answer:
ESD stands for Electrostatic Discharge. Sensitive electronic components can get damaged by static electricity. Therefore, ESD bags, grounding straps, ESD flooring, and humidity controls must be followed in stores.


5️⃣ How do you handle material shortages?

Answer:
I regularly review stock levels, coordinate with the purchase and planning team, provide shortage reports, and ensure alternatives or replacements are checked on priority.


6️⃣ What are GRN and Kitting?

Answer:
GRN is Goods Receipt Note—created when material is received. Kitting means preparing and issuing all required components to production as per BOM based on planned jobs.


7️⃣ Have you worked with fast-moving and slow-moving inventory?

Answer:
Yes. I categorize items based on consumption rate and plan ordering accordingly to avoid excess stock or stockouts.


8️⃣ How do you maintain 5S in stores?

Answer:
By ensuring materials are sorted, labeled, stored in designated areas, daily cleaning is done, and documentation and visual standards are maintained.


9️⃣ How do you manage material traceability?

Answer:
By maintaining lot numbers, batch details, GRN documents, and updating SAP records to track each material from receipt to consumption.


🔟 What would you do if a supplier delivers wrong or damaged material?

Answer:
I compare the material with the PO and delivery documents, report the deviation, quarantine the material, and coordinate with the purchase and quality teams for replacement or return.
