As a Launch Engineer, you will be responsible for smooth handover of new products into mass production, ensuring all requirements related to cost, quality, readiness, and timeline are effectively met. You will serve as a key link between multiple departments to ensure that market commitments and internal project milestones are delivered without compromise.

This role demands strategic thinking, structured planning, strong communication, and hands-on coordination with stakeholders at different stages of the product development cycle.

  • Monitor and optimize launch cost, quality parameters, and timeline targets.

  • Coordinate seamlessly with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, Tooling, and Supply Chain teams to fulfill project milestones.

  • Ensure readiness of assembly lines, fixtures, tools, and sample parts before SOP.

  • Track launch readiness metrics, identify risks early, and execute mitigation plans.

  • Document progress, escalate roadblocks, and drive closure through data-based governance.

  • Manage communication across stakeholders including suppliers, operations, and leadership.

  • Support audits, PPAP readiness, build validations, trial runs, and customer approvals.

  • Drive process improvements to reduce waste and optimize cost without compromising performance.
