About the Role

The Production Supervisor – Moulding Department will be responsible for supervising, controlling, and optimizing daily moulding operations. You’ll ensure that all production targets are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

This position requires strong technical knowledge of injection and blow moulding machines, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage shift operations independently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management

• Plan and execute the daily production schedule to meet target outputs.
• Monitor machine performance, optimize cycle times, and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Track production metrics, machine efficiency, and rejection rates through daily reports.

2. Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all moulded components meet established quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality Control (QC) team to identify defects or process deviations.
• Implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions to minimize rejections and material wastage.
• Promote adherence to ISO, 5S, and quality management systems.

3. Shift & Team Management

• Handle 12-hour rotational shifts (day/night) independently.
• Conduct structured handover/takeover meetings between shifts to ensure smooth continuity.
• Allocate manpower effectively based on production requirements.
• Monitor raw material usage and coordinate with the stores and logistics department for timely replenishment.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate production logs, downtime records, and shift performance reports.
• Communicate daily progress and challenges to the Production Manager or Plant Head.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety guidelines, and labor regulations.
