Maruti Suzuki India Pvt. Ltd., one of the country’s leading automotive OEMs, is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Audit of Quality Management Systems (QMS) at Suppliers. This is a great opportunity for engineering professionals with strong experience in supplier quality, QMS audits, and automotive manufacturing processes.

🎓 Qualification & Experience: B.E./B.Tech with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience
🔧 Job Role & Responsibilities
Plan and execute Quality Management System (QMS) assessments at supplier locations.
Identify gaps or weak areas in supplier QMS and recommend corrective actions.
Guide suppliers to establish robust quality systems aligned with industry best practices.
Drive improvements in identified weak processes and conduct re-assessments for verification.
Strong expertise in quality tools such as PFMEA, 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, QFD, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, 8D, etc.
Organize and deliver QMS training sessions for suppliers.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather essential quality-related inputs.
Stay updated on best practices followed by leading suppliers and OEMs.
🛠️ Technical & Functional Skills Required
In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
Internal Auditor Certification in ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 (mandatory or preferred).
Strong understanding of tools & statistical techniques:
SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP
Awareness of latest trends in quality and manufacturing excellence.
Basic knowledge of key automotive manufacturing processes:
Stamping, Welding, Forging, Machining, Casting, Molding, Heat Treatment, Surface Treatment
Experience as an Internal Auditor or Certified Lead Auditor for QMS.
