Job Title: Mechanical Engineer / Engineering Support Specialist (Japanese Language)

This role involves working with engineering teams, design experts, suppliers, and customers based in India and Japan. The candidate will support technical documentation, drawing interpretation, process coordination, engineering changes, and communication bridging between teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret, read, and understand mechanical drawings, 2D/3D models, and technical documents.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with Japanese-speaking customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist in engineering documentation, design review meetings, technical specifications, and reporting.
• Translate emails, reports, drawings notations, and meeting discussions when required.
• Support in tracking engineering changes, timelines, supplier discussions, and process approvals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, sourcing, and manufacturing.
• Resolve technical queries through strong analytical and engineering knowledge.
• Assist internal project managers and business units by sharing customer expectations accurately.
• Maintain professional and effective communication channels with Japan stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement and global standardization initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• Japanese Language Proficiency (N3/N2/N1 preferred)
• Strong understanding of mechanical components, manufacturing processes, GD&T, and drawings
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to multitask and coordinate in a fast-paced global environment
