Sharda Motor is currently hiring Graduate Engineer Trainees to support Purchasing activities for New Product Launches at its Nashik plant.

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee in the Purchasing (New Launch) function, you will be involved in end-to-end procurement and supplier coordination activities. Your responsibilities will include:

Part Procurement

• Supporting procurement of parts required for new product launches
• Assisting in vendor selection and part finalization activities
• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely part availability

Supplier Coordination

• Daily coordination with suppliers for delivery schedules and commitments
• Follow-up on pending supplies and escalation of delays
• Supporting supplier development and onboarding activities

Raw Material (RM) Ordering

• Assisting in raw material ordering as per production requirements
• Monitoring RM inventory levels and ensuring uninterrupted supply
• Coordinating with suppliers for lead time and delivery planning

New Launch Support

• Supporting cross-functional teams during new product launches
• Ensuring procurement readiness for SOP (Start of Production)
• Tracking procurement milestones for new projects

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintaining purchase-related documentation and records
• Preparing MIS reports for supplier performance and procurement status
• Supporting audits and compliance documentation

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for this role should meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or related engineering disciplines

Experience

• Freshers are encouraged to apply
• Candidates with basic exposure to purchasing or supply chain will have an added advantage

Skills Required

• Basic understanding of automotive components and materials
• Interest in purchasing, supply chain, and supplier management
