The Trainee – PPC role is part of the Production Department and focuses on supporting production planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution. This role provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing planning, ERP systems, inter-department coordination, and operational control.

Key Responsibilities – Trainee PPC

As a Trainee – Production Planning & Control, your responsibilities will include:

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare daily and monthly production plans based on:

  • Customer orders

  • Sales forecasts

• Plan production activities considering:

  • Machine capacity

  • Manpower availability

  • Lead times

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with:

  • Quality team for inspection and compliance issues

  • Design team for drawing clarifications and technical changes

  • Procurement team for material availability

3. Work-in-Progress (WIP) Monitoring

• Monitor WIP levels across manufacturing stages

• Ensure smooth workflow and minimize production delays

4. Schedule Tracking & Bottleneck Management

• Track adherence to production schedules
• Identify delays or bottlenecks
• Escalate issues to seniors for timely resolution

5. Dispatch & Order Coordination

• Coordinate with Internal Sales and Shipping teams
• Support dispatch planning
• Share order status updates and ensure on-time deliveries

6. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with:

  • ISO standards

  • Internal quality systems

• Support audit requirements and traceability

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain production planning documentation
• Support data entry and reporting in ERP/MRP systems
• Ensure documentation accuracy for audits and reviews

Qualifications & Requirements
