LEMEI Plastic Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd., a leading name in the plastic production industry, is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician – Utility to join our facility in Greater Noida. This role is ideal for candidates who are technically sound, hands-on, and have practical exposure to industrial electrical systems and utility maintenance.

As an Electrician – Utility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of electrical and utility systems, including breaker maintenance, UPS, DG sets, motors, control wiring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, along with a basic understanding of other essential plant operations like air conditioning, plumbing, STP, welding, and lift maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Breaker & Electrical Panel Maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting for ACB & VCB breakers.

• Handle maintenance and repair of all types of breakers including MCB, MPCB, RCCB, and similar low and medium voltage panels.

• Ensure that all electrical panels and circuit protection systems are functioning optimally and safely.

• Identify faults, replace defective components, and prevent unplanned downtime.

2. UPS & DG Set Maintenance

• Carry out regular inspection and preventive maintenance of UPS systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

• Operate and maintain DG sets, performing A and B checks, load management, and ensuring operational reliability.

• Monitor battery health, wiring integrity, and overall electrical efficiency of power backup systems.

3. Motors, Control Wiring, & Electrical Troubleshooting

• Install, inspect, and repair motors, starters, control wiring, and switchgear.

• Diagnose electrical faults, implement corrective measures, and document repairs.

• Perform preventive maintenance on motor circuits, distribution boards, and electrical panels to minimize breakdowns.

4. Preventive Maintenance & Repairs

• Implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all electrical systems and utility equipment.

• Carry out minor repair works efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to plant operations.

• Keep detailed maintenance logs and assist management in planning maintenance budgets and schedules.

5. General Utility Maintenance

• Handle basic maintenance of air conditioners, plumbing systems, STP operations, welding equipment, and lifts.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing any utility maintenance work.

• Report issues promptly and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.

6. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety norms while performing maintenance work.

• Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools during all operations.

• Conduct inspections and identify potential safety hazards in electrical and utility systems.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing plants.

• Strong knowledge of ACB, VCB, MCB, MPCB, RCCB breakers and electrical panels.

• Proficient in UPS maintenance and DG set operation (A & B checks).

• Hands-on experience in motor maintenance, control wiring, and troubleshooting electrical faults.

• Basic understanding of air conditioners, plumbing, STP, welding equipment, and lifts.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.

• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant certification in industrial electrical maintenance.

• Training in industrial electrical systems, DG sets, UPS systems, and safety compliance will be an added advantage.

• Experience in manufacturing or heavy machinery environments is preferred.
