Job Responsibilities

As a BIW Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities may include:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Fanuc and ABB industrial robots.
  • Perform robot programming, backup management, and fault diagnosis.
  • Support robotic applications including spot welding, material handling, CO₂ welding, sealant application, brazing, laser brazing, hemming, sash correction, and door fitment.
  • Resolve issues related to robot peripherals, communication systems, and equipment integration.
  • Develop and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) PLC programs.
  • Configure and maintain HMI, SCADA, Ethernet communication, and DeviceNet networks.
