Position Overview

📍 Location: Lucknow (Preference for candidates currently residing in or around Lucknow)
💼 Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager – Human Resources
🕒 Experience Required: 4 to 8 years in HR Generalist role

The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations, employee lifecycle management and supporting the organization with data-driven HR decisions.


Skills & Expertise Required

✔ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Table handling and reporting
✔ Sourcing and screening experience through Naukri.com and other recruitment platforms
✔ Practical exposure to payroll management and monthly HR compliance
✔ Working proficiency in Darwinbox HRMS

Tell us about your experience as an HR Generalist.

Sample Answer:
I have managed HR functions across the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, payroll coordination, compliance, employee engagement and HRMS administration. In my previous role, I led manpower planning and reduced hiring time by building a structured Naukri database and referral program. I coordinate input collection including attendance, overtime, incentives, LWP and reimbursement claims. I verify the final payroll sheet, validate statutory deductions, and communicate transparently with employees regarding any discrepancy. I also ensure confidentiality, timely release of salary slips and support year-end tax declarations.

I have hands-on experience in modules such as onboarding, attendance, leave, payroll integration, and employee lifecycle operations within Darwinbox. I generate MIS reports, update employee records, resolve access issues and assist in implementing new HRMS features. My focus is to optimize HR processes using system automation.

What is the process for PF and ESIC compliance?

I verify eligibility, ensure timely registration of new employees, coordinate with PF/ESIC portals for monthly contributions, maintain challans and ensure form submissions. I keep updated documentation for audit compliance and communicate deductions transparently to employees.
