Eligibility

• Qualification: BE / BTech (Mechanical / Production / Automobile or related)
• Experience: 2 to 7 Years
• Industry Background: Open to candidates from any manufacturing industry (Automotive preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and supplier development for Sheet Metal (Press & Weld), Forgings, Fasteners, Proprietary and Standard Parts.
• Possess strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to Body and Vehicle Structure components.
• Handle end-to-end Supply Chain activities including sourcing, cost negotiation, and vendor performance improvement.
• Work with a diversified supplier base and develop long-term strategic partnerships.
• Perform Zero Based Costing (ZBC), detailed quote analysis, and commercial negotiations.
• Drive cost reduction through VAVE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) and yield improvement initiatives.
• Estimate tooling cost from part drawings using the Zero Based Costing approach.
• Understand the structure, design, and manufacturing cost of Sheet Metal and Forging Dies & Tools.
• Analyze engineering standards, technical documents, and drawings effectively.
• Utilize MS Office and other IT tools for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, technical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
