We’re seeking a talented and motivated Line Shift Supervisor (Engine Assembly) to join our high-performing production team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about automotive manufacturing, assembly line management, and continuous process improvement.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily engine assembly line operations to meet production, quality, and safety targets.

• Supervise and guide operators, technicians, and contract manpower to achieve performance goals.

• Monitor process parameters, torque settings, and machine efficiency to maintain consistent quality standards.

• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth line functioning.

• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, downtime causes, and improvement opportunities.

• Implement lean manufacturing and Kaizen practices for process optimization and waste reduction.

• Ensure adherence to work instructions, 5S, and safety protocols across shifts.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for quality and process issues and drive corrective actions.

• Support new model or product changeovers, ensuring readiness of tooling and equipment.

• Maintain discipline, morale, and teamwork among blue-collar employees.

🎓 Qualification

• Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Manufacturing Engineering from a recognized institute.

💼 Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in engine assembly line supervision or production operations.

• Exposure to robotic assembly systems, S.P.M. machines, and torque-controlled tools preferred.

• Strong understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs), Poka-Yoke, and TPM systems.

• Hands-on experience in line balancing, process monitoring, and manpower planning.

⚙️ Skills & Attributes

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Sound knowledge of automotive assembly systems and quality standards (IATF 16949).

• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP (production module), and basic data analysis tools.

• Ability to work in rotational shifts and manage cross-functional coordination.
