Position Overview

• Position Title: Quality Manager

• Department: Quality

• Industry: Manufacturing / Automotive Components

• Location: Vitthalapur, Gujarat

• Experience Required: Minimum 10+ Years

• Qualification: Graduation / Diploma / Post-Graduation (Technical)

• Preference: CIPET preferred; Injection molding experience highly desired

• Employment Type: Full-Time, On-site

The Quality Manager will directly oversee quality operations, develop company-wide quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal standards.

Key Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the custodian of quality operations and customer trust. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and manage the entire Quality Department, ensuring seamless QA/QC operations.

• Ensure all outgoing products meet the established quality standards and client expectations.

• Set up, implement, and monitor quality systems, audits, process controls, and compliance frameworks.

• Lead root cause analysis, corrective action reports, CAPA activities, and preventive solutions for recurring issues.

• Ensure document control and traceability, including PPAP documentation, inspection reports, and quality manuals.

• Address and resolve customer complaints with professionalism and urgency.

• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive process improvements.

• Ensure continuous improvement through lean tools, Six Sigma methodologies, and Kaizen initiatives.

• Mentor, train, and support the quality team to enhance daily performance.

• Prepare quality reports for management reviews and client audits.

• Maintain and improve compliance with ISO standards (9001/14001/45001) and other industry requirements.

• Work closely with internal & external auditors during audits, approvals, and certifications.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong command over QA/QC methodologies, inspection standards, and statistical process control.
• Hands-on experience in injection molding processes preferred.
• Experience in automotive or component manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to handle pressure, customer escalations, and multiple priorities.
• Good communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, audits, documentation, sampling plans, and defect analysis tools.
• Proficient in process monitoring, problem-solving, and data-driven decision making.
