  • PGD – Plastics Processing Technology (PPT)

🏭 About the Role

The Assistant Manager – QA will play a key role in ensuring robust quality systems, customer satisfaction, and compliance with automotive standards. The role requires hands-on involvement in manufacturing processes, audits, quality planning, and problem-solving activities related to plastic injection moulded and painted components.

This position demands strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and customer teams.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and control Incoming Quality, In-Process Quality, and Final Inspection activities
• Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of Injection Moulding and Paint Shop Quality Processes
• Handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure timely closure with corrective and preventive actions
• Lead and participate in internal and external audits, including customer audits
• Maintain and improve compliance with IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, VSA, MMA, and other applicable standards
• Oversee Calibration Management System for gauges, instruments, and testing equipment
• Drive quality planning activities such as APQP, PPAP submissions, FMEA, MSA, and SPC
• Analyze quality data using 7 QC Tools, Excel-based data analysis, 5W1H, and Why-Why Analysis
• Coordinate with customers for quality issues, PPAP approvals, and audit closures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints
