About the Role

Minda Corporation Limited is hiring an experienced Lead Plant Process Engineering professional to oversee manufacturing line layouts, process optimization, and new project implementation. This is a leadership role focused on driving efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvements in automotive manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead line layout and machine planning for new projects.

• Drive process optimization, SMED, and cost reduction initiatives.

• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize manpower.

• Manage assembly line setup, installation, and troubleshooting.

• Execute PFMEA and implement corrective actions.

• Coordinate vendor development and equipment readiness.

• Review fixture design, tooling, and equipment load calculations.

• Maintain complete process documentation (WI, PM sheets, SOPs).

• Identify and eliminate non–value-added activities in production.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.

• 12–16 years of experience in process engineering (automotive).

• Strong expertise in SMED, PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, and layout design.

• Proficient in AutoCAD / SolidWorks and familiar with pneumatic & hydraulic systems.

• Excellent leadership, planning, and coordination abilities.
