Top 10 Interview Questions with Sample Answers
1. What is Sheet Metal Forming Simulation?
Answer: Sheet metal forming simulation is a CAE process used to predict material flow, thinning, wrinkling, tearing, springback, and forming defects before manufacturing dies are built, reducing development time and tooling costs.
2. What is AutoForm?
Answer: AutoForm is a specialized CAE software widely used in the automotive industry to simulate sheet metal forming, optimize die designs, evaluate formability, and improve manufacturing feasibility.
3. What is PamStamp used for?
Answer: PamStamp is simulation software used for sheet metal stamping analysis, springback prediction, blank development, die face validation, and forming process optimization.
