Experience: 15+ years in PED / Manufacturing / Methods Engineering

About the Role

Lucas TVS is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Methods Manager for its Auto Electrical Division. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on shop floor leader with a deep understanding of manufacturing, machining, and assembly processes, capable of driving productivity, quality, and process optimization across multiple operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process development, validation, and improvement initiatives for machining and assembly lines.

• Drive excellence in tightening, pressing, soldering, welding, winding, and metal cutting processes.

• Oversee PFMEA, PPAP documentation, and Tool & Fixture Design activities.

• Manage NPI setups, ensuring process validation and seamless transition into mass production.

• Lead a team of 10 engineers, fostering technical capability and continuous improvement culture.

• Optimize cycle time, cost, and consumable usage through systematic problem-solving and lean manufacturing tools.

• Interact effectively with internal and external customers, ensuring alignment on process capability and delivery performance.

Preferred Skills & Expertise – Lucas TVS Hiring

• Strong command over Machining and Assembly processes

• Proven experience in process troubleshooting and line balancing

• Exposure to automation and manufacturing systems is an advantage

• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer interface skills
