Roles & Responsibilities – HR Officer

As an HR Officer at Uno Minda Kyoraku Limited, your key responsibilities will include:

1. HR Operations & Administration

  • Handle day-to-day HR operational activities at the plant
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, and HR documentation
  • Support payroll inputs and coordination with corporate HR teams

2. Employee Engagement & Coordination

  • Act as a bridge between management and employees
  • Address employee concerns and support grievance handling
  • Ensure smooth communication across departments

3. Statutory & Compliance Support

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with:
  • Labour laws
  • Factory Act
  • Statutory registers and records
  • Support internal and external audits

4. Recruitment & Onboarding Support

  • Coordinate with hiring managers for manpower requirements
  • Support onboarding, induction, and documentation of new joiners

5. Training & HR Initiatives

  • Support training programs and HR initiatives at the plant
  • Assist in skill development and employee welfare activities

6. Discipline & Shopfloor HR Support

  • Maintain discipline and HR policies on the shopfloor
  • Coordinate with supervisors and line leaders
  • Support shift-based HR activities when required

Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification

  • MSW or MBA in Human Resources from a recognized institute

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR operations
  • Exposure to manufacturing or plant HR is preferred

Language Requirement

  • Fluency in Kannada is mandatory
  • Ability to communicate clearly with shopfloor employees
