Position Overview

The Dojo Trainer will play a crucial role in onboarding, upskilling and capability-building of operators, trainees, and existing workforce to meet ENCO’s production, quality, and safety standards.

Role Purpose

The Dojo Trainer acts as a bridge between operations and workforce development. The role involves equipping employees with the right skills, behavior, and knowledge to execute tasks efficiently on the shopfloor. By creating structured learning modules, safety awareness, discipline, and skill certifications, the Dojo Trainer contributes directly to productivity improvement, waste reduction, and human error elimination.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, the Dojo Trainer will manage and deliver training programs focused on:

  • Conduct Dojo Training sessions for new joiners, operators, apprentices, and existing manpower.
  • Develop training modules for Safety, 5S, Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, TPM concepts, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Maintain the Dojo Training Center ensuring all tools, models, equipment, and demo stations are in ready condition.
  • Facilitate practical demonstrations and hands-on learning for real operations.
  • Track employee skill development, ramp-up time, and training effectiveness.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and certification tests as per internal guidelines.
  • Coordinate with HR, Training, Production, and Quality teams for batch planning, documentation, and compliance.
  • Maintain Training MIS, attendance records, evaluation sheets, and performance reports.
  • Support improvement initiatives, employee involvement activities, and capability building projects.
  • Ensure workplace values — discipline, safety, quality, and productivity — are reinforced through training.

Desired Candidate Profile

To perform successfully in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Exposure to shopfloor workforce management and skill training.
  • Practical understanding of manufacturing processes, quality norms, safety rules, and standard work.
  • Experience in Lean, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, Safety or HR-training functions is highly valuable.
  • Energetic, team-oriented, confident, punctual, and strong at people interaction.
  • Passion to teach, mentor, motivate, and develop people.

Candidates who have worked in Automobile / Auto Components / Sheet Metal Manufacturing environments will be preferred.
