Position Summary: Diploma Trainee Engineer (DTE)
Bajaj Auto is recruiting fresh Diploma and ITI graduates for a Trainee Engineer role in its production departments. The position provides hands-on exposure to advanced vehicle manufacturing processes across the Chakan, Akurdi, Waluj (Maharashtra), and Pantnagar (Uttarakhand) plants.
Work Schedule & Facilities:
- Plant-based shifts: Monday to Saturday
- Company-provided transport and canteen services
Role Highlights:
- Gain practical experience in vehicle assembly, engine assembly, machine shop, and paint shop
- Work under structured training programs with mentorship
- Develop technical, operational, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
- Production Support: Execute production operations across departments per the training plan
- Machine Operation: Learn to operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Quality Assurance: Perform checks on components and assemblies for fitment, functionality, and defects
- Adherence to Standards: Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and operational procedures strictly
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in 5S and Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily production and process records
- Skill Enhancement: Engage in cross-functional training for multi-skilling
