Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Seat Design (R&D) -Krishna Maruti Job

Krishna Maruti Job -Krishna Group, a trusted name in the automotive industry, is inviting applications for Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Design (Seat R&D – Design). The role is based in Narsinghpur, Gurgaon and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the design and development of innovative passenger and commercial vehicle seating systems.

With 10 open positions, this role is ideal for mechanical engineering professionals with 3–7 years of design and development experience in automotive seating solutions.

Education

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in seat design, automotive component design, or related R&D functions.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of PV/CV seat structures, components, and systems under the guidance of senior engineers or managers.
• Prepare 2D/3D CAD drawings and assist in generating innovative design concepts.
• Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and related design documentation.
• Ensure new seat system designs are aligned with customer requirements and industry regulatory guidelines.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure compliance with IS, JIS, FMVSS, ECE, ADR standards and other relevant specifications.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in UGNX and CATIA V5.
• Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Knowledge of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and DVPR (Design Verification Plan and Report).
• Ability to perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure precision in seat design.
