This role is crucial for ensuring that sheet metal bought-out parts received from suppliers meet JBM Group’s quality standards before they are released for production.

Role & Responsibilities – Bought Out Parts Quality (Sheet Metal)

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the quality of externally sourced sheet metal components. The role requires strong coordination with suppliers, internal quality teams, and production departments.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Monitoring and controlling the quality of bought-out sheet metal parts received from suppliers
• Conducting incoming inspections as per approved drawings, control plans, and specifications
• Verifying dimensional accuracy, surface finish, welding quality, and fitment of sheet metal parts
• Handling supplier quality issues, deviations, and non-conformities
• Coordinating with suppliers for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Supporting supplier audits and process evaluations
• Ensuring implementation of quality standards such as PPAP, APQP, and control plans
• Maintaining inspection records, reports, and quality documentation
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce supplier defects

• Coordinating with production teams to resolve quality-related stoppages

This position requires a strong understanding of sheet metal processes and supplier quality management systems.

Required Technical Skills & Knowledge
