Tech Mahindra, a leading global IT services and consulting company, is urgently hiring an Assistant Procurement Manager for its MDS function in Pune. This role is ideal for professionals with strong procurement operations experience, vendor management exposure, and financial controls knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Vendor Management (60%)

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for market data, research subscriptions, and financial data services
  • Review and validate new requests, renewals, cancellations, entitlements, and price changes
  • Coordinate with internal business stakeholders and global vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, S&P, and other market data providers
  • Ensure optimal pricing, contract compliance, and entitlement accuracy
  • Perform price benchmarking and monitor usage versus subscribed services
  • Maintain catalogues, rate cards, vendor contracts, and renewal calendars
  • Support RFx activities (RFI/RFQ/RFP) for vendor selection when required
  • Identify and report cost savings, cost avoidance, and demand consolidation opportunities

2. Invoice Processing & Financial Controls (40%)

  • Oversee end-to-end invoice processing for high-value and complex MDS subscription invoices
  • Ensure 3-way matching (PO – GRN – Invoice) before posting
  • Verify invoice accuracy against contract entitlements and pricing
  • Resolve price mismatches, tax issues, missing POs, and duplicate invoices
  • Coordinate with vendors, finance teams, and internal stakeholders for issue resolution
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements
